Taking Care and Being Taken Care Of!

The week started with the old man, he is only 27 (not really old), having a cold. We got him medicated, he took a day off and then BAM! He's all healed, back to work and on his toes. Then comes Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and I am getting the ickies. I start with the sniffles and sneezes, and now I am congested, in pain and get dizzy every time I stand up. Luckily (sarcasm), I am extreme;ly busy at work, have expense reports to take care of, and don't really have the ability to just call in to work and sleep for the day.

I wish I were here:

It would be so nice and relaxing and I would probably heal quite quickly.

Instead, I am here:

Working, toiling away while surrounded by other sick people. AMAZING!
The good thing is that my husband does care about my well being and puts forth alot of effort to make me comfortable and help me get better. Down side- We BOTH have to be home for any of that to happen.

We have been making a lot of delicious concoctions at home though:

ALL WRAPPED UP!!

Then, I made these for a party I will attend tonight! What a busy night I had last night! PHEW! Blue is my color of choice for this season. I will not wrap or decorate in red. I threw a little green and silver in of course, just to be festive. My office has enough red in it to make a person blind. So, at home we toned it down a smidgen!

Weekend Wrapping & Wrap-up!

This was a great weekend. Eventhough the Bubbs (husband) was at drill (yay Army!), I had a very productive and fulfilling weekend. Friday was the day of wedding gift unveiling. SO EXCITING. It is nice when you finally get an opportunity to see the love pouring out from your family in sentimental cards and letters. I really enjoyed reading them all. We did get gifted with an extraordinary amount of great things.

So far, I highly recommend the following:

On to things I purchased this weekend for my self and that six year old fashionista I am step-parenting/loving with my heart of hearts.
