Well the Wedding is Done!

So all that craziness is over, and thank the lord for that. PEOPLE, HEAR ME PLEASE- DON'T go through this madness of wedding planning. The entire wedding industry is made up of people who don't care about you, or your wedding, and just want another check in their pocket.

My wedding was wonderful and filled with good food and great people. Everyone looked fantastic and had a blast. If you want to have a great wedding, try hiring friends with local business to fulfill the needs.

Ceremony Music- Jennifer, great friend since middle school- HARPIST- Did an AMAZING job
Photographer- Ashley, college friend/coworker- classic and chic pictures; absolutely great to have her
Hair & Make-up- Katie, friend for high school and college- HAIR and make-up were FLAWLESS! Colors, style, everything!
Reception Music- Eric & John, friend of a friend- Perfect music choice and kept my friends and family dancing all night; BEST PART- Even my step-dad, THE COLONEL, danced to the cupid shuffle!!
Venue- Las Colinas Country Club, Father in-laws company owns it; food was delicious, bar was open, full and quite classic, absolutely gorgeous interior and exterior!

This is the way to go people. Help small business and yourself!

The hubbs and I went on to spend the night at The Rosewood Crescent Hotel (one of MY company's hotels), which was an incredible experience in the 2-story Uptown Suite! Then, OFF TO JAMAICA of course! 7 days in Montego Bay (at Secrets), horse back riding, tanning, toe dipping, sight seeing and plenty of pina colada sipping!

Glad to be home with the wedding OVER and craziness coming to a dull roar.
